Thanks to a few people of :iconcauterizedcosplay:... I decided to play Tales of the Abyss after finishing Devil Summoner. And now? I want to cosplay Asch the Bloody.

Why hello Fanime, you're coming up pretty close. I haven't even touched the cosplay, sides being all "zomg VK I really need to do something" and petting the wig. :x

So here I am, now wanting to try to make (without a sewing machine... or even needle and thread!) all this cosplay since I have time. What is wrong with me. XD

So I guess I should be trying to find a sewing machine, and what material would be good enough to actually make durable and good looking cosplay (it's really time to throw away the staples and duct tape. srsly)

Oh wow! i was lucky to find a kimono on sale before the coast con^^" i did not have to sew..good luck! maybe u can find stuff that looks similar to the characters outfit if you do not have time to sew^^?

It depends on what the costume looks like. Maybe I could be of some help. :3

Moleskin is usually good for having a cape or cloak on a character. There's also this other fabric...it's very durable and somewhat flowing as well, I can't remember the name of it yet. It'll come back to me, though. :>

:O Is it expensive? I actually want the cosplay to last.

And I want to actually sew up with VK's stuff. Like... actually make a vest as well, rather than staples to a preexisting vest with Wal*Mart fabric.
